To immerse ourselves into our new topic: WWII, we had a WWII evacuee come and share his experience with us. We are so grateful for his time and willingness to spend his day with year 6.
In D & T this term, year 6 cooked their very own burger designs. What a treat!
Cycle Confident level 2. Year 6 completed their road safety bicycle training and had a great time riding safely on the roads of Enfield!
Aeroball, Jacobs ladder, Low ropes and team sports.... another dry fun filled day. After last night's late cluedo game we managed to get a very good nights sleep ready for the day today. We can't quite believe that tomorrow is the last day, it has flown by. Tonight is our disco night, so we have all had a shower, scrubbed up well and have our party clothes on. See you tomorrow!
Buggy Building, Zip Wire, Abseiling, Rifle shooting... we are exhausted! It has been an exciting and thrilling day. There have certainly been some shaking legs at the top of the Zip wire and Abseiling wall but we all pushed ourselves and certainly stepped out of our comfort zones. It has been a really important day to remind ourselves of how to co-operate as a team and remember to encourage our team mates when they are feeling a little like they are facing an impossible task!
Climbing walls, Leap of Faith, Sensory Trail, Fencing and a whole lot more! Even though it has been a pretty wet day, we soldiered on and stayed positive. It was a day filled with co-operation and teamwork at its best. Everybody is going to have a really good nights sleep tonight ready for another day of adventurous activities.
What a super first day we have had! We arrived safely, I hope you received the email. We were lucky with the weather, it stayed dry for the afternoon activities. We had time to explore the woods and have a super dinner. Unfortunately the rain came so we are having an indoor 'campfire' before retiring to our lovely dorm rooms!Until tomorrow.... g'night!
