  • To drink, there will be a choice of orange juice, apple juice, milk or water.

What snack will my child be provided with at Afterschool club?
  • Throughout the week there will be one of the following available each day: a choice of jam or butter sandwiches;  tortilla wrap with either butter, cheese spread or plain;  pitta bread with hummus; teacakes and plain breadsticks

  • There will also be a piece of fruit or vegetable each day for the children to eat.  This includes cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, apples and tangerines..

  • To drink, there will be a daily choice of orange squash, blackcurrant squash or water.

What measures have you put into place to limit the risk of coronavirus (COVID 19)?

  • Children will be in year group bubbles at Breakfast and Afterschool club to reduce the number of contacts between children and staff.

  • Year group bubbles will stay at a distance from other year group bubbles at all times.

  • Children in nursery will be in the sunstone learning zone (next to the reading hub).

  • Children in reception will be in the reading Hub.

  • Children in year 1 will be in the turquoise learning zone (spare year 2 classroom).

  • Children in year 2,3,4,5 and 6 will be in the dining hall, which will be zoned accordingly. The children will have to stay in their zones for the duration of the club.

  • The children will have the opportunity to play outside in year group bubbles where possible.

  • Staff have been assigned to different bubbles. We have tried to limit the number of staff who work across  bubbles where possible.  If staff are working across bubbles they will ensure they keep a distance for 2 metres from the children.

  • Children will use their usual assigned toilets.

  • Resources will be allocated for each year group bubble.  These will be cleaned regularly.

  • The area the children use will be cleaned before Afterschool club starts and after Breakfast club finishes.

  • The children will continue to be reminded to follow our behaviour guidelines and the Grange Park COVID 19 Home School agreement.

  • Parents should continue to follow the guidelines outlined in the letter that was sent out regarding dealing with suspected and confirmed cases of COVID 19.
