Virtual sleepover

On Friday 10 July, Grange Park hosted its first virtual sleepover with Years 3 and 4 with great success.

The children, teachers and parents (thank you so much by the way)  pitched up their tents, made their dens and enjoyed an evening of  stories, singalongs, pizza, marshmallows by the campfire and more.  It was great night and thank you to all those who took part! We definitely showed that we are all part of one big Grange Park community even though we are apart at the moment.

The sleepover started with us pitching our tents or making our dens.  This year we were able to fill them with our favourite things from home. Then it was pizza time - we all got to choose our favourite toppings! After that we toasted marshmallows and joined Debbie in a super singalong around the campfire. Then, we had a good old virtual chat with our friends, swapping jokes and silly stories. Finally, we listened to Ernest’s scary bedtime story, checked our tents for ghosts and ghouls, and settled down to sleep… eventually! Thanks so much to parents, who put in a lot of effort to ensure everything was such fun at home.

Here are some of the fun activities that Year 3 and Year 4 have been getting up to on their sleepovers at home...
