London Symphony Orchestra

On Tuesday, Year 3 enjoyed a fantastic music trip to see the London Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican in London.

They sang a song they had learnt in class, all about the instruments and sections of the Orchestra and listened to some famous classical pieces of music. Two of these were Beethoven’s 6th symphony and Bolero by Maurice Ravel.

“I thought the harp was beautiful”

"I liked the tuba because it made very low sounds"

“The conductor’s hands moved so fast!”
