We have been exploring composition and how to use different tones to create a naturalistic still life painting. We learned how to change the tone of our watercolours to create highlights, midtones and shadows to give the illusion of three dimensions. 

To produce our final pictures we have been refining our sketching techniques to create basic outlines before adding shading using the watercolours to create 3D effects.
